Perfect combination of savoury and sweet 

Ham apple pizza


  • 225g self raising flour
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 150ml water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 90g pesto
  • 230g mozzarella
  • 180g Denny Fire and Smoke ham
  • 1 handful cherry tomatoes, chopped in half
  • 2 handfuls rocket
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced with salt and black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 230°C/gas mark 8.
  2. Put the flour, cooking oil and water into a bowl and mix into a dough.
  3. Knead for about 2 minutes until it has a nice firm consistency.
  4. Add a little water or flour if needed.
  5. Lightly flour the baking tray.
  6. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on the tray.
  7. Bake for approx 10-15 minutes, or until the base is light brown and almost cooked through.
  8. Dividing evenly, top the rounds with the mozzarella, pesto, Denny Fire and Smoke ham, tomatoes and apple.
  9. Season each with 1/4 tsp of salt and pepper
  10. Bake until the crust is golden brown, 18-20 minutes.
  11. Top with rocket to serve.
